One Therapy Session At A Time
The Together Project (501c3) was created to make sure everyone has access to therapy, regardless of their financial situation.
We believe that mental health care is a fundamental right, not a luxury, and we're committed to breaking down barriers that prevent people from getting the support they need.
By offering low-cost and free therapy services to both children and adults, we're creating a world where everyone has the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive. Your support helps us build a more compassionate and connected community, one person at a time.
Where Does Your Money go?
We aim to support individuals who need help covering costs of therapy for two main reasons: short-term support through a life change or access to more specialized therapists.
We understand that financial barriers can prevent people from getting the quality care they need. Whether it's providing funds before insurance kicks in or for a specialized diagnoses, we are here to help.
Malik
Malik was recently diagnosed with autism at 31, after years of feeling different and struggling to understand why certain social situations felt so overwhelming.
The diagnosis was a relief, but it also came with new challenges. Navigating the world with this new understanding of himself, Malik realized he needed support to process his emotions and develop strategies to thrive in his daily life.
Finding and paying for a therapist felt daunting and expensive, but our nonprofit connected him with a therapist and covered half of his session costs for a full year. Now, Malik is learning how to embrace his unique strengths and live a more fulfilling life, equipped with the resources and support he deserves.
Bailey
Meet Bailey, a young mother who has been struggling with anxiety and depression since the birth of her child. Despite her best efforts, the pressures of daily life have become overwhelming, and she's found herself feeling isolated and lost.
The therapists that specialized in post part care charged more than she could afford, making therapy out of reach.
Thanks to our nonprofit, we were able to cover Bailey’s therapy sessions until she returned to work and could cover the full payments herself.
Now, she's on a path to recovery, gaining the tools and confidence to manage her mental health and be the strong, loving mother she wants to be
Marcus
Meet Marcus, a young professional who recently faced an unexpected job loss. He had been seeing a therapist for over a year to manage the stress of his daily life. He felt anxious and overwhelmed on how he would pay for his rent let alone weekly therapy.
Our nonprofit stepped in to cover the costs of his therapy until his insurance kicked in at his new job. He attributes his continued therapy to the reason he was able to find a new job so quickly.
Now, Marcus is gaining the tools he needs to navigate this challenging time, regain his confidence, and move forward with resilience.
